This year, PAD London welcomes its first-ever participant from the Middle East, PIK’D (Beirut) which champions unique ceramic and glass pieces by Lebanese and international designers. Dedicated to unique handcrafted contemporary and historical objects, NM Art & Design (Limassol) will be the first exhibitor from Cyprus to take part in the fair. True to its mission to expand the conversation in design and explore perspectives that have previously been marginalised, Friedman Benda (New York, Los Angles, Paris) will join with an impressive roster of international creatives whose mischievous, playful pieces reassess the role that objects play in our daily lives. Highlights include captivating pieces by French-Lebanese maker Najla El Zein, Mexican designer Fernando Laposse, American creator Misha Kahn, and the celebrated British designer Faye Toogood.

Contemporary

World-class contemporary design galleries will return to PAD London with a strong line-up of international creatives, many of whom will present ground-breaking pieces that combine masterful craftsmanship with invention and pioneering concepts. Among the notable participants, Gallery FUMI (London) will unveil an ingenious series of functional ceramic chairs by Max Lamb in collaboration with 1882 Ltd., a contemporary ceramics factory based in Stoke-on-Trent. Embodying the innovative spirit of both Lamb and 1882 Ltd., these objects challenge
the conventional perception of ceramics as delicate and unsuitable for furniture.

Returning exhibitors include Portuondo Gallery (London) who will showcase exceptional pieces from mid-20th century modernist art and design, featuring two remarkable armchairs by Italian architect, urban planner, and designer Gustavo Pulitzer and a painting by Fernand Léger.

Seven visionary contemporary and high-jewellery galleries will enhance this exceptional gathering of collectible objects. Many of the exhibited pieces will challenge conventional expectations about jewellery through improbable material combinations and imaginative designs.
