Art Monte-Carlo will return next spring with new dates, an enriched format, and a renewed artistic vision as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Anticipating its 2026 edition, the fair unveils a radical transformation that expands its distinctive identity and reaffirms its ambition to stand among Europe’s leading art fairs. Central to this evolution is the introduction of Salon Art Monte-Carlo – a newly curated section conceived and curated by architect and curator Stefano Rabolli Pansera, appointed Artistic Advisor to the fair.

Marking a new decade, the 2026 edition will bring together more than thirty leading international galleries of modern and contemporary art and will present its new curated section in an adjacent exhibition space. Scheduled from April 28th (VIP Preview and Cocktail) to May 1st, 2026, at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (in a new extension), the fair will now unfold over three full public days following its opening night.
Further details of the program will be announced at the end of January.

Art Monte-Carlo is also pleased to announce that Italian-born Stefano Rabolli Pansera will join the fair as its new Artistic Advisor, effective January 2026.

An architect and curator recognised for his innovative vision and curatorial expertise, Rabolli Pansera will bring a renewed ambition to the fair’s artistic direction. His appointment marks a decisive shift in focus of the Art Fair -expanding from commerce to culture, from display to dialogue – and consolidates Monte-Carlo’s position as a key event on the international art calendar.

Curator

Stefano Rabolli Pansera is an architect and curator working across contemporary art, architecture, and geopolitics. A graduate of the Architectural Association (London), he worked at Herzog & de Meuron before returning to teach at the AA. In 2013 he founded Beyond Entropy, developing projects across Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean, and curated the Angola Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, awarded the Golden Lion. He has directed the open-air gallery Mangiabarche in Sardinia, collaborated with Hauser & Wirth on its St. Moritz opening, and since 2022 has served as Founding Director of Bangkok Kunsthalle and Khao Yai Art Forest, as well as Artistic Director of the St. Moritz Art Film Festival. His curatorial collaborations include Absalon, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Michel Auder, Louise Bourgeois, Christoph Büchel, Tang Chang, Richard Long, Fujiko Nakaya, and Yoko Ono, among others

“With the support of Informa Prestige and with Stefano’s artistic guidance, Art Monte-Carlo is proud to mark this 10th anniversary edition by announcing a new chapter,” said Charlotte Diwan, Director of Art Monte Carlo. “We aim to strengthen Monaco’s position as a meeting point for the international art community, aligned with the Principality’s cultural dynamism.”

“I am honoured to join the team for this new Section of the Fair,” said Stefano Rabolli Pansera. “Our aim is to create a fair that is commercially successful as well as culturally inspiring. The commercial fair could become a cultural moment – where art, architecture, and design are experienced as a coherent expression.”
