A Taste of The Wine of the Champions

Presented at Host Milano 2023, the international trade fair dedicated to the hospitality world, The Wine of the Champions line of ‘furnishing complements’ is an Author’s Collection born from the meeting of two excellences of Made in Italy: Fabio Cordella, founder of “The Wine of The Champions” team and director of Cantine Fabio Cordella, and Massimo Della Marta, designer and product engineer who creates exclusive pieces of art design.

A selection of exclusive works, limited editions and open sets, created for the world of collectibles and dedicated to wine and football fans, the Wine of the Champions line is a result of Massimo Della Marta’s artistic reinterpretation of several of his internationally recognised and appreciated historical products, such as the Quadro Vino, a refrigerated picture frame which can elegantly display the most important bottles, while enhancing and enriching the space. Quadro Vino is the first refrigerator in the world that – just like a painting – can be hung over a sofa. It can make the most extraordinary moments very special, and raise unexpected excitement, while Della Marta’s Emme12 display case is the single slimmest wine display case in the world and winner of the Archiproducts Design Award 2022.

Handcrafted from quality materials, the frames of The Wine of the Champions are creations signed by 20 great football champions and objects of art design, where each piece is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity and guarantee.

“It’s like tasting a football match of yesteryear, in a glass.”

Fabio Cordella

The first eight prestigious displays, which kicked off the project, are signed by footballers Ronaldinho, Wesley Sneijder, Roberto Carlos, Diego Lugano, Marek Jankulovski, Màrcio Amoroso, Marcos Cafu and Amauri. The collection is also complemented by Ball, two decanter holders that take the shape of a football. One is dedicated to all participating champions, while the other is a special dedication to Ronaldinho’s Ballon d’Or.
