The Baur au Lac enjoys a privileged position in a private park on the shores of Lake Zurich, only a few steps away from the Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich’s famous shopping mile, and the Paradeplatz, the city’s financial heart.

Each of the 120 individually designed rooms offers a superlative standard of comfort. The new River Suite – the embodiment of luxurious elegance and the criterion for 20 additional new rooms and suites – has been designed by star architect Pierre-Yves Rochon.

Until springtime, gourmets can delight in “cuisine moderne” in the classic Restaurant Français or enjoy Mediterranean grill specialities in the cosmopolitan Rive Gauche. The summer months are welcomed in the park, where from now on the redesigned Le Pavillon will offer guests an all-year-round invitation to their table in Zurich’s most stylish southern ambiance.
